I'm sorry it wasn't Fat Quarters it was a charm pack and it was for $7.50 on sale $10.00 normal price! I wanted to know if that was the going price for them but I'm glad I asked the other question too.

$7.50 for a charm pack is not a bad price. I've seen them cheaper but not often.

That must have been a typo - that would make a yard of fabric between $36.00 and $40.00 a yard. NOBODY will pay that amount.

Nobody in America, but I have heard prices that high in some other countries though....

As long as was nice fabric, I did buy fat quarters anytime that they were $1 or less. That is how I began my stash. Anything in my price range was a contender, I even bought a few that I will have to cut "really small" to make them pretty enough to use. I have not bought fabric in 16 months! (Trying for a record! Lol!)

When I see fat quarters I always have to remind myself to "do the math!"

Wally world sells them for 99 cents--Jo Anns here start at about $2.00

I have paid $2.45 for FQ's at quilt shows, but only for fabrics I cannot find locally. Since my favorite store closed two years ago (they sold FQ's for $.99), I have found I purchase fewer FQ's. I frequently purchase 1/2 yards of fabric and cut my own FQ's for swaps, etc.
