I say leave it in. It could add interest to your quilt to have both.

Think of it as a quilting 'sampler'. Using both hand and machine quilting would be just like using different blocks. Maybe you could put few a few ties somewhere to make the quilting sampler concept more complete. And then convince yourself that you planned to do it this way. No one needs to know anything else!

I like renee765's idea to have different types of quilting if it works with your piece design. Or, let it rest for a bit and then decide - you may decide to finish hand quilting it, or come up with something different altogether without ripping out all your hard work hand-quilting.

I think you won't be happy with it the way it is. In that case you are better off unstitching it and starting over.
