Used what is called cheater fabric at Christmas to make twenty table runners for gifts. This was fast and much easier than piecing them. Everyone loved them. Machine quilted around blocks. Turned out well

My sister and I each bought this panel. I had a lot of fun quilting it because there are NO SEAMS. One of the easiest projects I've ever done. Panels are kind of like taking a little break. It looks like separate pieces, that were sewn together, so unless I tell someone, who's to know?

Love the panels, don't know who thought they ought to be called "cheaters". I disagree. I have made a ton of baby quilts and many other items using those panels and I really like the results. Quick and easy!

I like to use them in quilts as a center. Here is one for a Vietnam Veteran. The blocks surrounding it were orphans from lots of friends.

Pre Printed panel are fun to work on between major projects. I even hand quilted the last one. It makes for good practice. Hugs

I have used them and always have liked the quilt when done. Here's one I did with frogs for a new great-nephew. (It was also my first FMQ.

Boston, I just love that panel. They're pretty limited in the stores around here but I've decided to make panels the next thing I'm adding to my stash. I'll be keeping a lookout for them in my travels. I'd sure be grateful if some of you could share links to online shops with a good selection.

I call them starters and a friend of mine calls them 'UFEs" (U finish 'ems). haha.

I used a "panel" piece for the first time last year to make a baby blanket. I felt guilty, but it
ended up being one of my favorite quilts! I spent time doing intricate quilting on the picture and
it really came out great.
