I like them all and am joining the mystery train tomorrow b/c all the blocks
and designs fit that description and are easy and great. |
I like quilts that the person I give my quilts to appreciate and use them.

I like a quilt
Made for a family member with love and warmth.
|
.... are big, love looking at the quilts at shows over 100" both directions.
|
....that I design myself.
....that people usually ask where I got the pattern from and I can say "there IS no pattern!" because it's an original. ....that I can incorporate hundreds of different fabrics from my stash without it looking cluttered or tacky. ....that is more traditional than contemporary or modern looking. ....that are functional, not just made to hang up and look at. (Throw quilts, bed quilts, etc.) ....comfortable. I don't want them to feel stiff and overquilted... I want them soft and good to cuddle with. |
I like quilts that are.....
handmade super warm fluffy looking, cuddly not over quilted and stiff scrappy, useful not too difficult to piece quilts with no handsewing! |
I like quilts that are scrappy but look fabulous when all done. I like quilts that will be used by their recipient. I like looking at everyone's quilts as they are all unique in their own way.
|
Apparently, I like quilts with cat hair! :D That's what my cats tell me anyway.

I love quilts by Pet Speth because she take unit turns them this way and that and you get many different blocks. I also love quilts that use lots of colors. BTW Pat Speth's web site has free quilt designs and others to purchase too. Her website is patspeth.com
