I will. I have so enjoyed starting from just a piece of fabric and turning it into a quilt, a purse, a skirt, a pillow, and even some pants for my DD. I know it isn't perfect but I enjoy doing it.

I dont mention if its under $400 cash or debit, the purchase is at my discretion.. However, anything that requires me to use the Amex I have to bring to his attention.. Hate for him to be shocked when the bill comes in at the end of the month.. lol..
But I do look for bargains and sales.. that just means I can double my take home stash!!! |
I would go for the quality of the fabric. I would not like to spend my money then to find out the quality of the fabric is poop.

You might want to shop online for better quality prices. Do not buy inferior fabric because you will put in too much work to have a failure in the end. Before debit cards, I used to pay for my fabric with a check and write "groceries" in the register.....we had 3 teenage boys. Or, take it out of my cigarette allowance. I didn't smoke but he did. By the time debit cards arrived, he had figured out that he was losing the battle.

I still haven't bought anything since our cat had to go to the vet yesterday for a UTI and 2 more went to for their annual checkup. So in 2 days we spent almost $200 at the vet. But they are worth it. |

I have 7 charm packs (patterns in mind for them), 1 Jelly Roll, and 13 yards of fabric picked out, all for under $200! Highest yardage is $9.95, the jelly roll is the highest but I have idea for it too. |

Just type in the name of the pattern plus the word SALE, and it will give you all the sites that have that fabric on sale at this moment. I never pay full price for my fabric.
