My Fish fun is super fast. A tube quilt with nice fabrics looks much harder than it is, too.

You could always make up some of the rice bags we have been talking about...everyone loves them, and winter is coming. Just be sure to include clear instructions. They went fast at our family reunion auction.

I am so grateful to you for making something for the JDRF fund raiser. I have a story of triumph for you. My youngest son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 2 and half years old. Now he is 29 years old, graduated from medical school, is doing his intern year at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle and then will go to Stanford University for his residency. He played sports in high school and Division 1 football in college. The insulin pump is the greatest invention until we have a cure! There were days when I thought we would never make it but by God's grace and miracles my son will help others throughout his life. You just never know how things are going to turn out. Good luck with the fund raiser! Been there, done that too.

What a blessing that his life turned out so wonderfully and he will pass on to future generations medically. I love doing charity gifts because they impact someone every day. We may well be the recipient of his knowledge someday :)

a rail fence is super easy and fast. pick a bunch of scrap fabrics you have in a 3 color scheme or a 2 color scheme with one of the colors in light and medium or a medium and dark grouping to make it look a little more planned as well as scrappy. it works great.
