It doesn't get much better than that!!

Oh yummy bright quilt! No wonder she likes it. I am glad you found out her true feelings.

What nice reassurance - even if it was a bit late. Don't you just light up when someone complements your work?!!

Sounds like a Ah Ha moment to me! Good deal!

So happy for you. Sometimes the person who receives the gift is so overwhelmed that they are distracted. I believe this is one of those times.
I made a quilt for my friends nephew/son (she raised him) and yesterday he came to visit her and came over to see us. He said that he and his son use it every night and they all love it. Brent is still fighting cancer (he is 35) but he looks wonderful and I am so pleased that the quilt I made for him is giving him so much comfort. Sometimes I set my expectations too high and neglect to think of what the person is dealing with at the time. A lesson learned for us both. Yolanda Wood River |
Great end result. Nice to know when things are appreciated and loved.

That was a nice response. Glad she like it.

maybe she needed to see it in its proper setting (on her bed) to really appreciate it and ive also noticed from experience some fabrics and colors have to grow on you. ive bought fabric because it grabbed me but couldnt figure out how to use it and when i finally did it was way better than i thought itd be.
