I bought a table from Sam's that adjusts to 3 heights. The highest is just perfect for cutting. It was only $34. It folds in half for easy storage when not in use, and is fairly lightweight.

I have a 6 foot banquet table that works great. It is up on bed risers. Lots of room to work.

I have a Horn cutting table and love it. My first cutting table I bought ar Joanns, had it for years and I loved it also!!

I have an old conference table that is 8 foot long by 3 foot wide. My large cutting mat fits perfect on one end. I have it butted up against my small sewing machine table. Works great!

I love mine from JoAnne's. I have had it for about 10 years. It is also great for wrapping Christmas presents - right height. I do not think you will be disappointed. Get it when it is on sale or you have a coupon.

I would cut on my kitchen counter before using the floor or put a mat on my ironing board or top of my dryer or on my car hood. No way I'd cut fabric on the floor, just the thought of it makes my back, shoulders, knees, and butt hurt.

I have seen that JoAnn's has cutting tables pretty reasonable....I like the portablility of them. Any views on this? Thanks

I have a regular kitchen counter in my sewing room on base cabinets and when cutting a lot I use my dining room table. No way would I ever get on my knees for anything.

I have a similiar cutting table to the one at Joanns and Hancock Fabrics. However, I purchased mine from my Bernina dealer 16 years ago. It is over 72 X 36 because the pinnable cutting mat measures that size. The table has a drawer, both sides can fold down. Legs are great and have locks on the casters. It cost $500; a great deal more than those mentioned, but it has been great even with several moves. Now there are so many more companies out there and so much repurposing of furniture that I would not spend that money now. Good Luck, T
