Hi
Does anyone have any brilliant ideas for small things I can make for a craft fair. they need to be relatively quick to make. Already have tissue cases, book covers, mug rugs butr more suggestions would be great. thank you |
Pot holders, aprons, quilted refrigerator magnets and pin cushions.

Think of something for kids...maybe puppets, furbabies, or fabric 'checker boards' with unique playing pieces and bags to store it all in. I've seen some made up and they're really cute.
|
How about those 'oven dresses' that someone was making? they're cute, and fairly simple...

Our guild sold a lot lot lot of quilted key chains, quilted book marks, table runners, lots of small things as opposed to the larger things.

How about Coralee's crock pot cozies?

If you're near where folks gather for Civil War re-inactments, then think of sun bonnet and apron combos. I made some for my daughter and sister, who wore them to different states' re-inactments and both had women beg to buy them they looked so old. I had made both of them from old fabrics with small flowers and had bleached the colors almost out of them before cutting.
I suspect this might be a bigger price asked so maybe just a couple for test purposes. Toaster covers or Crock pot covers? I have a quilted glass cover I made for my breakfast diet Pepsi, keeps my hands warm, I love icy drinks. I put a layers of batting on the bottom too, and change them every few days for drying. |
People love to buy things for their dogs and cats!

People also love to buy things for their children and grandchildren ---- pillow cases! In novelty prints, especially princesses and sports and dogs/cats. I've had good luck from them, just by word of mouth Adults love them too - in florals, but they stress about it matching their bed.
