Sounds like a great idea. Would like to know more about how you're using it. I went to the Fiskar's site and found these. Which one of these did you get?

Hi,Everyone
The Fiskars cutter I have is a 12 inch. with the cutter in a bar that closes over the base of the board. Mary Ellen has put up a web site, on page 1, it is the last cutter, except the base of my cutter is silver with the inches marked across for measurements.

I am using it for a that I am adding a boarder of strips to to increase the size 10 inches on each side. (Don't know how to load pic, yet) These strios are 1 1/2, 2, & 3 inches wide, 10 inches long. Each side takes 18 strips of each size.

The cutter saved me SOOOOOOOOOO much time. Cut all the strips in less than 4 hours, did I say they are od many different fabrics.

Try it and let me know what you think.
