I am new to quilting. I would love directions. I have been told that narrow sashes are hard to do. You say this is quick and easy. I love the pattern and the colors. tnx

I love the first one for a baby girl quilt. Do you have the pattern to share? Have to have 4 baby quilts done by september and trying to do something different and that is different. :lol: :shock: :lol:

It was a Moda pattern called Baskets of Flowers by Mary engelbrett. Not sure if it's available on line or not.

Love, Love, Love the Hunter's Star....That is one of my favorite patterns...Yours is beautiful, your color choices and placement is stunning....P.S. Thanks for the tutorial on X marks the spot, I have book marked it and will use it on my scraps.

Great job - I too loved all three quilts, but I loved Northern Lights, particularly since they are in my favorite colors. Great job - I agree you should have won a ribbion if you didn't.

well,sorta.,......I used Thangles. They have a package of their papers in a kit called Orion's Star

I just bought about 10 yards of solid green at a rummage sale ($1.00)..the second quilt (scrappy one) would be a great way to use some of this fabric.....

I adapted it from a pattern I saw in a magazine. An earlier post gave it a formal name - check above. Also I posted a tutorial = search for it here under the name X Marks the Spot
