I'm the same way. I love the softer, wrinkled look. If you're crazy, then so am I.

I think it happens more often, Loretta, with the quilts that the fabric or batting isn't pre-washed. Love the old time look!

I love how it looks like has it the "loved" look. I want quilts to be used not looked at.

She replies "why do you cut up pieces of wood and put them back together". My uncle is infamous for this!!! And he works with wood. Only when I say that he laughs and says he is making something useful because no one can use a big ol' tree trunk but the fabric is already useful as is. Men! I like the washing stage too! That's when I feel like it's done! |

She replies "why do you cut up pieces of wood and put them back together". My sister doesn't totally get it either. She knits. But she's planning on make quilts for her kids (all 5), but I'm sure she won't cut fabric as small as I do. |
My DH asked me what I was going to do with all those rags I bought. I said what rags? He said all those rags you bought yesterday. I bought a bundle of fat quarters. :D :D :D :D

We are ALL NUTZ. Quilting, however, is what keeps us sane....
