I plan on making at least two for family. So if anyone was thinking about doing this as a new project I think you'll like this site.

check here, I am pretty sure this is where I saw the pattern for the Kindle cover

This is a pic of the Kindle cover I made in anticipation of getting a Kindle for Chrismas and guess what Santa brought me one and it fits perfect!! I'm making one for DIL in black/white for her Kindle! Love the bakeshop pattern great for using scraps

My husband got a Kindle so I guess now I need to make him a cover. Was that the pattern you used?

Thanks for the link, I will be getting a kindle next week and I can make a nice cover for it instead of paying $50.00 for one of thiers. I like the way it stands up like that so you can do some hands free reading. I have kindle for pc, but you can't take that any where, but I have been reading so I can see having a kindle for travel and when you are in the waiting room at the Dr office and the like. Every one have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Outstanding job! I have a Kindle with a leather cover which is very functional and protects the screen; however it is nowhere near as beautiful as yours.
