I understand, but that is just part of it. Eventually we get to our projects (as we start new ones). It is all a vicious cycle. I don't want to be sitting at home with nothing to do!:p

PHD - love it. Now I can say I have several PHD's and it will be true. :)

I have so many projects in mind and drawers and bins and and and and a couple that should be arriving sometime today and DH ordered one he would like me to work on. and and and etc. etc. etc. etc. Not overwhelmed just addicted.

Everyone sounds normal to me. I'm the same way, always ideas swirling which leads to pulling fabrics and piles all around of the new ideas! Best of luck in your recovery and remodel.

The creative mind becomes easily bored once we have figured out one project. Challenge over with, and so it jumps to finding another project to challenge our thinking process. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

I am making good progress with my UFOs so far this year and I am making progress with taming my scrap pile (I work on it about an hour each day). I have not been buying any more supplies that those I need to finish a UFO. But, I keep finding lovely patterns on the internet (all free) and so I print them. It is true that paper is pretty cheap but the ink is not. I guess I just must collect something! It is the quilter's thing.

I have a couple of on-line swap projects and want to work on some quilts in progress, it all creates a bit of stress for me but feel so good when something is done so I can continue on.

What you are going through now is what I call normal for me. I can't count the unfinished projects I have and I am still buying and starting more. At 75 I just hope I live long enough to finish them all. When we lost my DM I got all her unfinished projects that are still unfinished as she hand quilted and I don't.
