I have belonged to several but if you really need ideas or HELP this is the best place to find it.

I agree. Every once in awhile I get a notice from a different online group but I tend to ignore them. I love the people here and even if we don't all do the same things the same way, no one gets nasty about it. The Quilt Police all seem to be on other boards, which works fine with me.

This was the first board that I ever joined, and have not looked for another...this was home :D:D:D
I have popped into a few others that have come up during searches...looked around but the feel is not the same.

This was the first group I found, and never looked for another! lol!!! I honestly don't think a better one could be found!

This is the first quilt board I joined...there is so much to see and read and such wonderful people that I never needed to keep looking

IMHO....this is the first group that I have joined and am totally and utterly satisfied. I had joined another at one time, but no one ever responded to any questions that I posted. There were never any swaps or anything like that so....I am here and here I will stay until someone boots me out.

I checked out a few, but I don't like to join and then bail out. I looked or is that lurked! here for a couple of weeks and decided this was the place I wanted to be. I think the people here are very inclusive and kind. I learn something each time I visit here, am inspired by all the wonderful pictures that are posted and as a "lone quilter" enjoy the fellowship of people just as "quilt-crazed" as I am. Most importantly....people of all skill levels and "styles" can come here and be a part of things, as Bev said, it's like family.

i've started to branch out to other forums.

This is the one I love and will stay with.
