I just stood there for a minute and then said thanks and ran out to the car just in case she changed her mind. Sometimes it helps if people don't know that much about quilting or fabric. With the price of fabric today I just came away with a great deal. 3 yards of fabric for .50.

I would say that's a nice deal. I laughed at your comment about sometimes people don't know that much about quilting or fabric. I try to pull it off, when I go in and ask about any old "portable"(full-well meaning featherweight) sewing machines available to use for parts. So far, it hasn't worked.
