I have had one of these for 35 years ..the best sewing cabinet ever made

I had that exact cabinet for over 30 years. It was the store's floor model. My Singer Futura was attached to it. I gave it and the sewing machine to a friend. It served as a nice piece of furniture both in a livingroom at one house and as a buffet in the diningroom at another. Enjoy.

I have that exact same cabinet! I love, love, love it! The top section moves down like that so you can use the free-arm on your machine which was a fairly new feature at the time the cabinet was made. I began teaching in 1979 and used my first pay check to buy it!!!! The bottom of mine was damaged in a flood several years ago but I couldn't stand to get rid of the cabinet so my husband replaced the bottom and put new casters on.

My 1980 Singer 2010 has a cabinet made like this one have always loved it. The doors have decorative designs on them.
The foot feed on mine has gone bad and can't find a new one.
Singer doesn't have one to replace it..
Enjoy your find.
