I have had one of these for 35 years ..the best sewing cabinet ever made
I had that exact cabinet for over 30 years. It was the store's floor model. My Singer Futura was attached to it. I gave it and the sewing machine to a friend. It served as a nice piece of furniture both in a livingroom at one house and as a buffet in the diningroom at another. Enjoy.

I have one very very similar. Had her for years and years now...have had every machine I own on her....Excellent find...Enjoy !!!!!
all i can say is WOW!!
Very nice! Enjoy it!
I have that exact same cabinet! I love, love, love it! The top section moves down like that so you can use the free-arm on your machine which was a fairly new feature at the time the cabinet was made. I began teaching in 1979 and used my first pay check to buy it!!!! The bottom of mine was damaged in a flood several years ago but I couldn't stand to get rid of the cabinet so my husband replaced the bottom and put new casters on.
You scored!!! Way to go
Wow. this is fantastique.
My 1980 Singer 2010 has a cabinet made like this one have always loved it. The doors have decorative designs on them.
The foot feed on mine has gone bad and can't find a new one. Singer doesn't have one to replace it.. Enjoy your find. |
nice!
