I have never seen it before, but that is a super cool pattern! Did you make it? Love the colors. What about calling it an "Exploding Star"?

Awesome photo/quilt, love the scrappy colors.

I love it! I don't know the name either, but someone on etsy was selling the blocks and the listing was called 72 French Braids (confusing because it looks like only 36 are shown in the picture). A picture of one of the blocks is shown in the listing too, and she says it's a 6" block, but you could make it larger too. Other layouts are equally interesting. http://www.etsy.com/listing/73748082...-fabric-blocks

Have no idea what the patten is called but love the quilt. Beautiful!!!!

I also don't know. I have never seen this pattern. But to me all of the points are converging to the middle of the quilt. Like it is a imploding star not exploding. I remember years ago seeing a advertisment for a railway station that looked simular to this. I would think a name like all paths lead to home would be great for it.

Ok - something else to add to the to-do list. It is beautiful and can't wait to try it. I have enough scraps to make about 12 of them. Thanks to all who kindly give their info.
