I hope and pray it shows up.

I had a lost quilt arrive back at the senders two months later ...

Oh no! Put it up on http://www.lostquilt.com

Hopefully it will show up yet.....I'm sure there were quite a few delays during all the devastation from Irene! Fingers crossed for you!

Praying it will show up. I'm sure it's somewhere delayed because of the storm, hopefully out of harm's way.

What a bummer. I agree, give UPS time due to storm problems. Otherwise keep after UPS - don't give up. If it doesn't show up, I agree with Sweetpea.

I feel for you.
I would give it a few more days before starting a new one. It might just be delayed. I sent a quilt to a friend about 8 years ago and it never showed up. Has never been seen since either. After that loss, I made sure to include both addys inside the box and I now use a mailing bag with the information listed on it too inside any box I send. I'm not willing to lose another quilt that way. Oh and I make sure to have delivery confirmation too. |
I am so sorry. This is why I always send my important packages UPS. I get a tracking number and can watch it online. I just don't trust the Post Office. I really hope they find it.

I insured it. The rules say you have to fill out a mountain of paperwork and show proof of value! How do you prove the value of something handmade? It is certainly worth more than the $200 I insured it for. That would maybe cover the fabrics but never my time. I am praying that it shows up this week, just delayed by the storm!
