All the above suggestions are great!!! Just test first to be sure they will come out before you use on your quilt!!!quilt!!!!

I've posted before that I use washable markers that come in a pkg of about a doz--all colors--that I buy for $1 at the "Everything's a Dollar" Store. They are coloring pencils for children, but I love them for marking quilting designs. Then I wash the quilt lightly and all marks are gone.

I use Frixion pens, but some people really don't like them. Test them on your fabric, as they sometimes leave white lines after being ironed off (I've always had them wash out though) |
