Am I missing something? I don't see a forked pin at this site!

Yeah that's why I do. It takes awhile to put all the pins in, but it makes a world of difference.

In the last 3-4 years, I've seriously bent about a dozen pins, lost about 3 needles, and slightly bent a bunch. But that usually happens when I'm sewing quickly (since you have to go really slow). I always sew my pins... I get the IBC silk pins. Love them. Hate sewing without pins

I purchased some of these several years ago after seeing Alex Anderson using them on her show several times. Useless - I hate them!! Never use them!

Somehow they distort the fabric much more than using two separate pins, I assume because they are joined together.

I would say use two nice long, fine pins (not the thick type with the large heads) and save your money.

I've never heard of them, but since I don't have them, I obviously need them!! Bello Boo - I laughed out loud. Thanks!

I bot them at Patchwork Penquin on Foothill Blvd in Tujunga.

I use one thin pin at my intersections, pinning right through the two seams, and get really good "points" all the time. Well, most of the time....I don't if I'm not trying hard.

I bought some @ JoAnn's with my 50% off coupon they are in the quilting section & work GREAT !

I checked at JoAnn's and the lady had no idea what I was talking about so I went on Ebay and purchased a pack. I believe they were under $10. Haven't used them yet, but I've got them!
