I have the same issue, but the culprit in my case is a dog. He loves to snatch bits of fabric out of the trash bin in my sewing room and carry them off to shred. Must get a covered bin.

I have one sitting at the ready by my sewing table. I am messy sewer and give us all a quick swipe before getting up.

I use a regular dust mop with a microfiber cap on it.

Too funny! :D

I use a lint roller- works great.
