Thanks so much to all those that took the time to reply. I can always count on QB members for information.
Lots of differing opinions but I think you could sell runners made from this pattern.
I didn't realize it at the time, but I went back to the site where I found my inspiration pic and it is a runner for sale on etsy, so apparently people are selling projects made from the pattern.

Thanks again for your input.

I do not understand this copy right stuff. If the pattern is for sale for anyone to make then what a person does with it should be their business.

I made that pattern from a free pattern I got off the internet.....if it's a free pattern why would you have to ask permission to sell it??? Just about all my patterns are free from the internet, altho I don't sell them...

I have a question about the statement at the bottom of this website....about donation to cf..........this is a free pattern that I have seen in many mags, many times for a long time.....so I cannot understand how the website can say, use for free with donation...................

And she states "Feel free to copy and share".

Copyright pertains only to WRITTEN information and photos. Many designers abusively try to limit what can be done with sewn products, but it is not legally binding. You can sell your work if you want.

I appreciate it.
