Cute story, you have a great Mom!

My mom isn't with me anymore but your story sounds like something my mom would do. My mom always thought that whatever I made was the most beautiful thing ever made because she would tell you she didn't know how to even sew a button on. You need to attach that story to the back of the kitty quilt because it will last for yrs. and whoever gets the quilt should also know the story behind the quilt.

That's hilarious. Reminded me of when my DS's Kindergarten teacher said he would do well in school programs, etc. (in other words, he was really loud). I'm sure your mom was really proud of the quilt. Donna

Love your story. Thank you for sharing. Who knows, maybe mom will start quilting!

That is a 'cool cat' quilt. I never get the binding on my quilts the same size on front & back either.
I think your quilt is really cool. What a story you have to tell!
peace
