Welcome from WI. Your first quilt is beautiful, love the colors. Think pink would be good for the binding. Good luck with the quilting.

Very nice job! Pink would make it pop!

It's beautiful - very complicated pattern for a first quilt. Great JOB!

The black border and pink flange sounds perfect. That is a Gerry impressive first quilt, wonderful work and looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and opinions! I checked out that tutorial for the binding with the flange and I really like that, I might go with that. I have never done a binding before, is this flange a more difficult binding then if I just do one color? I have read alot of tutorials but am nervous to mess my quilt up. Maybe I should practice on something smaller first.

On a side note, I went back to JoAnn's tonight to buy the backing fabric that I had seen last time I was there and they didn't have it anymore! Booooo! They didn't have anything that I really liked. I am bummed.

Very pretty. I am working on my first quilt as well. Certainly no where near as complicated as this one! I don't really know enough to comment on how to do anything but I like the way it looks now.
