I use this machine all the time...for many hours a day. The only time I have black fuzz is when I have used black thread and forgot to blow out the machine afterwards....
I hope you can find the problem, this is a fabulous machine....

I have this machine, and I've never had that problem.
Try giving it a real good cleaning.
Hope someone can help you. :)

yup, sounds like too much oil to me, too Check your manual and make sure you aren't oiling a hole that isn't supposed to be oiled also.

You might join the Yahoo Juki group and ask them. Very nice friendly group. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TL98EJuki/

This is a really old post so I'm hoping someone somewhere has some info. This same thing happened to me. I don't believe it is oil from the machine as it only happens when using the walking foot. My machine (TL2010q) is less than a month old and is doing the same thing. I'm sure it's been doing it from the first use but I didn't notice until I was SITD on white fabric. Most of it came out in the wash but some did not. If I take the foot off the machine and cycle the lever that operates the upper feed dogs, you can see it drop a fine dust which smears on a light surface. Does anyone have any ideas?

I bought a used Juki TL98Q and noticed the black dust stuff. I sewed as fast as the machine would go on white fabric until it went away. I haven't had the problem again. It is a used machine and I got it for $200 so I'll sew the dickens out of it and see what happens. So far it's been fine.

I like your style!! You just powered through!! I guess it didn't damage your walking foot to set a land speed record? I'm going to give that a try.

I didn't use the walking foot to sew fast. I did clean my walking foot by soaking it in kerosene and let it air dry. Then put a few drops of oil on the moving parts.

I am on a Juki FB page and have seen this mentioned several times. It's a problem with the walking foot rubbing metal to metal and it's tiny metal shavings you are seeing. I have the TL2010q and haven't had the issue, but I think you aren't alone. A new walking foot might help (I've heard people mention a Janome one instead?) but google the issue (Juki walking foot metal shavings) and you will likely find some advice. Hope this helps.
