The next time I go to Hawaii, I'm bringing the machine with me and will drop it at the repair shop. There aren't any repair shops here :( |
That's a beautiful thang, Terri!!! I had an old Singer that was my Grandmothers and I learned to sew on aged 9ish but my ex-husband left it in Ireland when we moved house (just one of the many reasons why he's my ex!!!)

Very nice Terri! I'd of said yes sight unseen also.

We have a wonderful older gentleman, a retired Singer repairman, a few towns over who comes to your house and repairs all brands of sewing machines. Wish I could send him to you.
That machine is a beauty! Once you get it repaired you'll probably never have to take it to the shop again. And you'll love it! You've gotten a gift that will keep on giving. Lucky you!!!! |
Neat old machine. Keep your mind off that booger that is lurking in the jungle wanting to pinch you. I still love my first machine. Got it when I was 15 I think. It's about 39 years old. Going to let my only granddaughter have it some day to learn to sew on it.
