Great idea and I would almost kill for your butterfly fabric.

I have a man's tube sock filled with rice. It wraps nicely around your neck.

I mist mine with a squirt bottle, they seem to last longer. You could make one square horse shoe, if that makes sence. mine kinda lays across on my upper shoulder and down my front?

I read your quote about the butterfly fabric and I have some. You won't even have to kill for it. I purchased a huge box of quilting fabric at an estate sale a year ago and there was a couple of yards of the bfly fabric in there. You are more than welcome to it as it is not my taste. PM me with your name and address and I'll be happy to send it to you. I love to see fabric being used by those who love it.

laalaaquilter. Dreamer2009 had some on her sale, maybe he has more. I will look in my room tomorrow too. YOu don't have to kill for me. LOL.
Oralee pm'd me and she has a pattern for a wonderful neck one and she is sending me one. I love this board. Of course, I like to trade so this is great. Thanks Cindy. |
I forgot to say, earlier, that I made the ones for my neighbor out of dry rice & fleece. They work well in the microwave.

I did the same thing last week. I work at a computer and spend a lot of time with my elbow beside the keyboard - uncomfortable. I took 2 fabrics from a charm pack and filled with rice. Not only is it more comfortable for my elbow, when I'm not typing, I hold it and reposition the rice inside different ways. It is just comforting and soft. I will be making more for sure. It is the perfect size for my desk.
