Isn't it just so exciting? I, too, am getting my own room and moving into it slowly. I got the new machine moved in and just had to stop working on the room for a sewing break. Back to working on the room now. LOL.
We can be doing the happy dance together every time we enter our own special area for sewing or just sitting and looking around at our space and smilinggggg :D:D. Hugggggggs and I'm as happy for you as I am for me, I really understand how wonderful it feels.

So, when your room is all done, host a "new room" party and ask your quilting friends to bring a yard of fabric. That will help your stash get going. :)

I am so happy for you, every one needs their own space, even if it is a tiny corner in a room. You get a whole room. Your dh, ds & dil are gems to help you do all of this. ENJOY!!!

Congrats you are so going to love having your own rm. Yes please post pics. Have you used the search feature on this board to see so many wonderful ideas? Its up at the top of the page ; you can type in sewing rooms, sewing studios or sewing spaces and get tons of ideas & pics. I know when I moved myself into what used to be our formal living I did a search and was over whelmed w/ amazing ideas...these quilting buds are awesome at sharing.
