Would the Teflon plate stop the holes in my iron from making puckers in the edge of the fabric?

Not sure but the picture of it shows small holes all over it and not just a few around the edges. I think that is the way I am going at the first of the month!

Heat equal parts vinegar and salt in a small pan. Rub solution on the cooled iron surface to remove dark or burned stains. Cleans up a treat. This is how we used to clean copper pans that had gotten old and cruddy.

I heard that the Mr. Clean Eraser works great. If the metal is actuallt pitted I don't think anything would get that out except maybe sand paper.

in the past i've been desperate enough to use steel wool, even though it scratches. i found that to take anything off. wear gloves so you don't get splinters.
