I like the look of the black sashing with the blocks - beautiful quilt

I like it better with sashing. My choice would be the black.

Love the blocks. I really like the blue for the sashing.

I like the black sashing, makes the squares pop and work together. Tell her good job, and let her decide.

At first I thought sashing, black or red. Then I looked again and I thought no sashing. It will be a really cool looking quilt no matter what you decide to to with it. Post when it is done!

Look at all the different opinions!! Read them all and enjoy them, but then do whatever you want. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the choices!

I like it better with the sashing, shows off the funky angles etc., in the blocks. I think the black and then the red would be my choice, but as many have stated here, the final decision should be your daughters. I am a firm believer that making the choice and seeing it through to the finished product is an important part of a quilter's education. There have been a few of mine I look at now and think I would have done something differently, but I have learned something from each quilt I have made. Good luck and do share pictures of the finished project!
