this is one time when cornerstones really help. with the squares, you just line up each seam, no extra marking.
especially a time saver on a large quilt with lots of blocks.

You did a fabulous job of lining those blocks up! How proud you will be to display it this season. Aren't quilt board folks wonderful?!

Your quilt is beautiful, something to be proud of, I know your granddaughter will love and cherish it. Thank you for sharing it with us.

For each block sew a sashing strip on the top side, then another sashing strip down the left side making sure your sashing strips are all the same size and easing where needed. then just sew your blocks together one row at a time. Then you just need to add an outside sashing to the right side and bottom of quilt center. It will come perfect
every time and so less frustrating than all that other measuring.

Did you completely embroider each block? Were any of them preprinted and you added embroidery? If you embroidered all those blocks, I praise your wonderful work. The quilt is absolutely adorable and you have a wonderful Christmas quilt.

I have a partial picture of where I started.

You need to trim all the blocks to the same exact size.
Make sure to get the space around the lines of print even.

If you have one, use a large square ruler. Put tape on it to mark the size you want.
Mark the edges with pencil lines before you cut.
If the blocks are all different sizes, - even a sliver of fabric wider, they will not line up.
