What department would these be in? Another things to hide along with the items we find in hardware that are not meant for quilters' use.

What a great tip, I have so many of those rubber straps from doin physical therapy on my arm. Love it.

I had a bunch of the non-skid shelf liner (like they sell at the dollar store) and cut several strips about 3" x 4". It works really well, and doesn't slip. :thumbup: Don't like it as shelf liner because it doesn't allow things to glide. Go figure.......

At Walmart they're with the exercise stuff in the sporting goods. I would imagine any drug store might have the exercise bands too.

Someone on the board mentioned they used glycerin and I tried it and it's great! I'll never go back to gloves/rubber/shelf liner, etc again!! Just a drop will last a really long time!

The rubbery "shelf paper" works too.
