i just signed up for the digital to Quilters World and thats the best deal i've seen in a while.

I have a question regarding the digital subscription to Quilter's World and being able to access the past two years' issues. Right now the offer is all of the 2010 issues as well as all of 2009 and 2008. What if you renew your subscription in a year? Will you still have access to the 2008 issues? Or just the 2011, 2010, and 2009? And what if I subscribe halfway through the year? Will my access begin halfway through the 2008 issues?

I can check with Quilter's World is no one knows, but I thought I'd ask here first.

i'd check with quilters world for that infomation.

what i can tell you is that you can save all of the pdf files that way you can always have access to them even if quilters world takes them away from your account.

Oh, yeah - duh! I will check with them though, just out of curiosity. I prefer a print magazine, but it's tempting to think of getting three years for the price of one, especially when I haven't read the issues from the past two years. I did notice it's $9.97 when you already have a print subscription and $14.97 when you don't.

i actually prefer digital magazines because i end up scanning the patterns i want to make into the computer any way.

I got one in the mail and, since I currently do not have any other mag. subscriptions AND the price was excellent, I sent in my "YES". These days, I buy quilting magazines for the entertainment value and consider it a huge bonus if there's even one idea or pattern in the magazine I like. I've gotten QUILT before and it is good.

And on a related note, I found that I had to create an Excel spreadsheet to keep up with my quilting magazine subscriptions so I wouldn't inadvertently subscribe to the same one twice, LOL! It tracks the name, number of issues, subscription date, expire date, amount paid, etc. Hopefully, I'll keep it all straight!

OK that's way too organized for me - a great idea - but I wouldn't keep up with it.

I just signed up for the digital Quilter's World. It's great! You get bonus pages in each online magazine.

I rec'd it also, and it was just offered for one year. I subscribed to F&P for years, but let it lapse last year. I discovered I never made any of their patterns.

I'm letting a lot of my magazines expire.

It took some looking but I found the website for the digital version: https://digital.quilters-world.com/?source=prntpg]https://digital.quilters-world.com/?source=prntpg[/url]

Thanks for the info, everyone. And, I find it interesting at how many of us have let their Fons & Porter subscriptions lapse. When I first started quilting, I signed up for all the quilting magazines I found. Have since learned better; not all are equal. One that I haven't let lapse is Quick Quilts. I've made a couple of things from there.
