I hate it when I figure out that I messed up AFTER I pressed. Ripping stitching that has been pressed is irritating and I do it a lot.

There is a saying if you have never gone off a horse then you aren't a horseback rider. I think we could also say if you have never sewn 2 pieces together wrong then you aren't a quilter.

I just did this today!! I'm best friends with my seam ripper, but wasn't in the mood for it today. I went to the ironing board instead. Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully a better one,lol!!!

I've been there. Yesterday as a matter of fact.

I just KNEW you would all relate!! I had stitched two strips and pressed them, had pinned the next piece on the ironed strip, before I realised that I had sewn both strips (admittedly only about 15" long) & pressed them before I realised they were wrong.
All fixed now. Thanks for laughing WITH me!!!

Must remember, right sides together, right sides together.

UNLESS......you're doing one of those raggy quilts that you clip the seams......which I just worked on yesterday.......

I did a quilt-all wrong sides together-on purpose. Still goofed up and put right sides together. Sometimes you can't win!

Oh thanks, I am making a denim rag quilt with the wrong sides together!

Now I guess I will have to bring out my seam ripper just in case! :) :) :) LOL

Been there, done that, should have a t-shirt. Glad I have a really good seam ripper. lol
