ArtquilterNEWWAYtoQUILT 10-25-2007 07:01 PM

:? :?: Ok, I searched and seems we're 2 hrs later so 12 noon, If I am wrong please let me know!! OK now I am talking to myself as usual but maybe someone will answer later on.

amma 10-25-2007 07:06 PM

10:00am Eastern = 8:00am for you I believe

lin 10-25-2007 07:44 PM

Artquilter, check into chat on Sat. morning 8:00 a.m. your time and you'll be giving instructions on how to make this little table runner. There is a list of all the supplies you'll need here...

http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/2764.page

Scroll down to the 8th post (the one by luvmy2bts) and you'll see the list.

If you can get your machine anywhere near your computer, you can read the instructions, do the work, and come back for more instructions, or ask questions as we go along. Hopefully this will work out good so that we can do it again.

moreland 10-26-2007 03:55 AM

There is only 1 hour difference between Eastern and Central time.
UNLESS one is on Eastern Daylight and Central Standard, then there would be 2 hours.

My sisters live east of here and we are always juggling the time!

lin 10-26-2007 05:04 AM

You're right moreland!! Thanks! Don't know why I was thinking two hours for her as I'm on Central time too, but wouldn't want her to come in that early and think we weren't going to be there. :D

mimisharon 10-26-2007 05:10 AM

We'll make it work for everyone! Remember, if you can't make it Saturday, Debbie has graciously agreed to teach again Tuesday evening.

Sharon

kasapa 10-26-2007 05:52 AM

I am interested in this class. What Saturday is it starting, and how do I get to it? Thanks! Kasapa

mimisharon 10-26-2007 04:59 PM

Tomorrow, 10 AM, did you get that in chat today? Hope to see you there!!

Feathers 10-27-2007 08:02 AM

Boy are you fast, Debbie. Your 3 tablerunners are so pretty. Great job. Thanks for sharing.

I got up at 5:20 this morning ready to tune in to the class and at 6:00 sat down to read the morning paper and woke up at 8:28 so missed the class. I'm so mad at myself. I'll definately tune in on Tuesday night.

Nanobirdmo,
Your focus square is awesome. Did you piece this just to have something special for the tablerunner? Great idea there. Love your colors.

I can't believe it is after 2pm Central and I just finished the 4th side! Am I a slow poke, or what? I did not stop and nap or anything either!

Anyway, I think I am going to bind it with the green plaid, but not 100% sure yet. Will post finished one later.

lin 10-27-2007 11:51 AM

You have no reason to be embarrassed Diamond. At least you have an excuse ...I was there from the beginning and read the instructions and STILL got it wrong!! But that was a lot of fun, and I'm planning to make another one in a Christmas theme and this time I'll do it the right way. :D

lin 10-27-2007 11:52 AM

Aww, thanks amma! :)

My son will like it. He loves ALL things Halloween! Just have to get a binding on it and he can have it in time for Halloween this year. That was a fast little table runner to make. Gotta love that!! :)

lin 10-27-2007 11:53 AM

Just noticed that one fabric looks really pink. It's not pink at all! All the colors were Fall colors. Oh well, you get the idea anyway.

amma 10-27-2007 11:55 AM

Now I can't decide which one to sew tonight, only lurked today, but wait till the muchkins go to sleep. Love all 3 ways! Eanie Meanie Miney Mo.....LOL

Lin, that is how I was going to do mine too, but Debbie said she was teaching the other version. I will have to try that one next, with my Christmas fabrics.

Good job!

nanabirdmo 10-27-2007 12:29 PM

thanks. yes i used just the center of a paper piece block pattern.
yes i did it just for the table runner, as i wanted to do a christmas project.

nanabirdmo 10-27-2007 12:31 PM

nanabirdmo 10-27-2007 12:33 PM

lin, nothing wrong at all. it looks terrific.

Yvonne 10-27-2007 01:14 PM

These projects are turning out wonderful and all so different. Amazing how we can use the same patterns and directions and interpret them to represent ourselves and have the end product look totally different from everyone elses. I am so looking forward to the second session on Tuesday night.

Now, as to Tuesday night... What time was it? I know it was posted but I have no idea where  and I've been around the world and back again! I have my fabrics ready and I've told my husband he's on his own for dinner so all I need to know now is WHEN????

amma 10-27-2007 01:16 PM

8pm eastern, Yvonne, It is a fun class! :D

Yvonne 10-27-2007 01:20 PM

Amma, Thanx! You're fast!!! I looked in earlier today and it sure looked like everyone was having a good time. Wish I could have stayed for a while.
I'll be there Tuesday night then.
