I agree on the price....

So with everything El, just take one step at a time..... don't look ahead. Do it exactly the way she says and it will turn out right.

There definitely is a video for Day and Night quilt - here is the link:

http://quiltinaday.com/shoponline/dv...&i=26022&page=

I haven't a clue if that will come through as clickable. Anyway the video is $9.95 - I think that with the book and video you should be just fine. $65 is a lot of $$ for a class anywhere. I would not take it for that price. Eleanor's sister, Pat Knoechel comes to visit our guild here in Mooresville, NC every single year and we were all totally in awe when she brought the Day and Night quilts - the black, white and red is fabulous!!

Hope this helps,
Sandy in Mooresville, NC

Here is a link to a video on Night and Day. This site has several videos not on the Quilt in a Day site.

I am so glad you posted this, I was about to look for it for her as I love, LOVE, this woman and her quilting proess.
I am excited about her new BOM this year with the first ladies :).

THIS is a FABULOUS PLACE!

It depends. If you can afford the class then take it because there are always little tricks to be learned that make things easier. If you cann't aford it right now try the book but if it frustrates you then look for free videos.

Which book did you buy? (I haven't read your whole thread, so if it is in there, I will go back and look) ...
at first reading, it all sounds very difficult, but Eleanor Burns is actually very organized and direct in her instructions.
Sometimes, to get something done, it helps to have someone like me who can sort of walk with you step by step.
I probably have the same book, and if not, I am not opposed to buying another one so you can succeed. Will go back and read through the thread. You don't need the $65 class. I will go through it with you, if you haven't already found a quilting buddy to encourage you <wave>

I'm sorry, I didn't understand the title of your thread
the links to her site worked that were posted at the top of page 4 ...
I don't have that pattern, but if still need some encouragement I am here <wave>
