The sewers had to have unbelievably steady hands and patients- not to mention great eye sight

So Incredible that anyone could create such perfection on such a small scale!
Drat! My threshold for throwing away scraps just shrunk even smaller! :?

Look like Sally Collins style! She loves to do minis. Definitely detail oriented. Beautiful!

I'd like an answer to the "How do you sew those seams" question. I have a pp pattern for a small village - and I can't figure out how those pieces get sewed either. Yikes - someone is a miracle worker.

I have some books on mini quilts, they use 1/8th inch seams to piece the quilts. I have yet to try one but a friend of mine made several in traditional block designs and they are really something to see. I display the one she gave with great pride in her work.

ONG - I recently tried to make a 4" patchwork square and I am ready to throw the book out the door. I made a plastic template etc. but putting it together is akkkkk!!!

Crazy! Again, every time I go to a show and see work like that I think I'm not worthy to touch fabric!

I'm going to have to ask a real stupid question.

how do they sew the seams?
