LOL Patrice, I'm a he. Konstantin is a Russian male name, derivative from Greek Constantine :) I didn't think there was a mystery about it. But there you have it :)

Oh, boy, Tim is going to be thrilled!! You've been a mystery to us for weeks, you haven't been reading everything, have you? Now then, tall, dark, and handsome or tall, blue-eyed blond, do tell us what to expect in our next newsletter???
Looking forward to each and every one, no matter what is in it, Sharon |
Tim should be happy to know that he is not alone in his love for quilts and his tolerance (well, sort of) of women. Thank, Konstantin, for putting up with us. :-)

It's about time Tim had some competition around here. he's been getting spoiled by all the adoration.
maybe he'll start bringing us flowers and candy to keep up. or baste our quilts for us. (naaaaaaaaaaah ... that's probably pushin' it.) |
Patrice Dear, did you not get the newsletter in which he showed in a video clip the proper way to make a quilters knot? Nannnner nannner nannner
I knew he was a man!!!!! & Patrice didn't!!! Now, brag about fabric shopping again!!! IF YOU DARE!! |
i don't remember that, but probably wouldn't have watched it anyway. i probably don't really, but would most likely have assumed i already knew how to tie a knot. LOL
i shall buy yards and yards and yards and yards. HAH!!! did you do the quilting in your avatar? cuz it's pwiddy. |
Thank you Dear!!! Yes, I did.
You're good at sucking up!! I guess I won't begrudge you buying a little fabric... if you want to... |
Hey Patrice if you have all that moola for fabric how about I PM you my wish list :!:
|
well, my dear, you are welcome to PM as long a list as you like. but ... ummm ... don't hold yer breath waiting for me to share.
and don't envy me yet. i said i was going shopping. i don't expect to do much buying. I need something very specific, so am not likely to find it. the store i'm going to (as if i had any choice any more. grrrrrrrrrr. but, i digress) has lots and lots of fabric. and usually a lot i like. but none that really calls out to me. know what i mean? it's all stuff i'm content to leave there and just look at next time through. doesn't it seem, also, that when you shop for fabric with something very specific in mind, you can never find it? and nothing else - no how much better it might be in reality - ever seems good enough to use instead? i think i'm still too "depressed" about loosing the place i like best to give any other place a fair chance. resentment clouds the judgement and changes the colors of everything around you. i'll know i'm over it the first time i walk out of this place straining under the weight of my purchase. considering that, this whole being "depressed" thing might just be You-Know-Who's way of leaving enough money to get some of the other things i want, too, instead of ONLY buying fabric. nothing important, really. silly stuff like food, gas, mortgage payment. you know ... the nonsense. LOL |

First off, I knew Konstantin was a man's name. Second, think Ricky Tims, that man can quilt circles around most women I have met. Third, the quilt shop I most frequent is... "Eddie's", he's mah hero. He has a collection of about 700 Hand made Hawaiian shirts and hangs quilts of people who shop at his store (and are good at quilting) in his shop. Knows more about sewing machines than most people alive. He hires great people (and cute), all of whom know my name. tim in san jose |
