Sally Collins is an amazing precision piecer. Ive used her techniques and turned out great miniatures. Our guild had her come and teach. Not everyone loved it because of the precision involved but most really wnt r it. Her dvd is worth every $. I think she has something on youtube

You can still find copies of the miniature quilts magazine on ebay
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_saca...gazine&_sop=12 They've gone out of business though, nothing new being published. If I remember correctly most of the blocks were between 4-6 inches. Not what we'd call mini today, but a great place to start. Happy Piecing! |
Still doing my research about paper piecing. Has anyone here tried Peggy Martin's method of paper piecing with strips?

I think that the first successful way I learn something is what I tend to stick with. That's probably why I return to some techniques I learned in jr. high home ec! I learned pp first with Carol Doak and thats where I stay. IMHO there is no reason for me to change from something that allows me to achieve perfect results.
