I feel your pain too. Glad you walked away for awhile. It really does help.

Just unpin a little, sew a piece onto the back to lengthen it and then put your label there. No one will ever know.

I know what you are saying. Yes walk away.
Go get that kwik klip [I think it's called]... buy more toys while your there and a chocolate bar! I would be like you, knowing I wouldn't be satisfied until it is right. |
That has happened to me before too...I just added on a piece of fabric...as someone said, you could sew your label over that part so no one knows what happened....a big label if you have to.

I have added a strip rather than unpin it.

Well, I am calmer now, I went out shopping, not for fabric, and came home with an end table, lantern, candles and decor. We are decorating our den in a beach theme. It was very cathartic! Aaahh fresh beach air, seagulls and tomorrow I will un-pin and redo the quilt...like a Type A that I am.

believe me, i've done that. i've added more backing fabric to a skinny edge rather than take the whole thing apart again!

I gave up using pins..I use the 505 spray and love it. My fingers are very happy too.
