Try a black center. I know it sounds odd but I use black a lot and it really makes the other colors jump out. Just a humble opinion!

I like the second photo...red poinsettia the best.

I like the red. Since it matches some of the sections, it seems to add dimension, like the blocks are lifting, pulling toward you.

MY vote is for #1. they are all great.
