Ahhhh, to be a size small in any life would be awesome. Alas, I am not. :D I would wear the scarves, if there are any. Those are one size.

at a quilt show this weekend i saw 2 entries using the embellished east indian fabrics. really pretty

I would take and pass half of it on and make a lovely quilt out of the rest. Can you post some pics. I would love to see the fabric. I love Indian dress. they are just so colorful and beautiful.

If she told you to use it for quilting, then by all means, DO so. Stop feeling guilty. No reason to. If you don't want to use it for quilting or if it is not something that is functional for your lifestyle, then find someone who will make good use of it. Once a gift is given away, the receiver is allowed to do with it as they see fit.
Maybe there is a Women's Shelter that can use it. If there are West Indian women and girls there that can use it they will be thankful. |
I'm with Pam. If it already has embellishments on it. Instant crazy!!!
|
I wouldnt feel bad using it for quilts if thats what she told you to do! Bet they are beautiful!
|
I sounds to me that she really qppreciated your quilting and thought the clothing would make beautiful quilts.
|
You said "It is such beautiful stuff" That mean you like it. So use it. Or do what so many of us do put it a side till you think of a pattern for it.
|
I would certainly use it for quilt(s). If the embellishments are suitable, use them in a "texture" quilt for a special needs child/adult.
