i really like the classic kaleidoscope but the one dunster ref to in this link is really easy. the kaleidoscope comes from the placement of the fabrics, not having to match repeats. much easier than rhonda's method. however, i still want to do that one too. some day when i have the patience to match all those pieces of fabric. until then i think i will stay with the simple.

The Ricky Tims Kool Kaleidoscope is also an easy pattern to follow and lots of fun to make. I think that's what Maride posted above, and also here are 2 that I made:

Hi, the first ones that I did I used the precut kits that I got off of www.overstock.com. They were great and had some really easy directions to follow. Several different fabrics to choose from and so easy to do with their directions. Since then I have made several from my own fabric but I still use their simple and easy instructions.

I am slowing looking up all these suggestions. Of course I want the most complicated to be my first one.
