I would not put Prarie Points on a baby quilt.
Babies chew/gum quilts. Prarie Points are small and if dislodged would choke a baby. Mom, dad, or caregiver would be around when using the quilt. Personally I love the prairie points. |
I think the points set it off perfectly!

I did prairie points on my grandson's quilt which goes to day care and is washed very frequently. It still looks great after a year.

Love the look of the prairie points. IF you sew them correctly, shouldn't they last through multiple washings? I have never done prairie points, but I do love them.

Ditto. Prairie points will wash fine. froggyintexas

OK so I know your gut has already told you, the prairie points move it into way cool over that looks nice.

Prairie points. :)
How do you use them in place of binding? I would love to do this. |

I like the Prairie Points, but I would make the points point to the quilt rather than away from the quilt, then bind with yellow. That way there is no chance of an eye getting poked and it gives a smooth edge to grab on to. jmho Pretty quilt by the way.
Sue As beautiful as this set is I'd think it would be used more like a display/play mat rather than a cover. Whatever you decide, it is absolutely precious and the bag to match is so very clever! |
It looks much nicier with the prairie points in my opinion.
