Oooo! I'm looking for a large compass now. I have fabric all bought for one, but when I started going through the pattern I decided I want a different, more challenging one. Lol.

Several of my friends are doing the Turning 20 and it looks easy enough, however I do not like 20 different prints. Maybe its because some of the blocks are so big. I havent seen one yet that I really liked.

Coll 09-25-2011 03:14 AM

I'm just new to quilting but one day I will conquer the french braid 8-)

Patti Mahoney 09-25-2011 03:25 AM

Patch work crazy quilt with tons of embellishments, embroidery and decorations

1/2" hexagon Grandmothers Flower Garden

AND, I haven't been quilting long enough to know all the names of the patterns but I'm working on that, I don't have a list but I guess now, I'll have to make one.

davis2se 09-25-2011 03:59 AM

Right now my bucket list is just to finish the 4 quilts I'm making for other. I'm doing 3 memory quilts for the daughter's and wife of a man who died very unexpectedly in the spring, and I am so worried about not giving them what they want. None of them gave me any idea of the quilts that they wanted, just send me a box full of his shirts...I am almost paralyzed by the thought that the quilts won't be what the family wants....The other is an awesome SunBonnet Sue, with blocks made by a dear friends Grandmother back in the 50's. I'm not worried about that one, but can't start it until I get the others done. After that I will start on my REAL bucket list, which includes queen size quilts for each season for our bed.

Latrinka 09-25-2011 03:59 AM

I would like to do Sylvia's Wedding Quilt
I would like to do Mariner's Compass
I would like to do another sampler only make the blocks smaller

We should all make up a quilt called "Bucket Quilt" that would encompass all the things we would like to make.

No Bucket List here. Just the most recent pattern that catches my eye. Currently working on table toppers and other small projects to improve/build my knowledge/skills.

Dretha 09-25-2011 05:29 AM

Since I am so new I dont have a bucket list of quilts but I have a bucket list of things I left undone to make quilts. I have a crochet table cloth, many beads to make into necklaces, and a sweater (crochet) that I will probably never finish. Sweater was going to be a surprise for my DD who passed away just after I started it and just cant bring myself to finish it. It has been 4 1/2 years so you would think by now I could finish it but just cant.

jgriinke 09-25-2011 05:31 AM

Too many to even start listing them.

walkerjoanne44 09-25-2011 05:35 AM

1 dog quilt
2 dresden doll quilt
3 double bed star quilt
these are the next things on my list to do

themachinelady 09-25-2011 05:38 AM

I don't have a bucket list, I have a stock tank list, and for those of you who might not know what a stock tank is, it is a BIG water tank to water livestock from. But to list three I would have to say my disappearing 9 patch which I am slowly working on, my 'save-all' scrap quilt and then it's a toss up between finishing up grandkids and dil and son's quilts my mom started.

Have a great quilting day.
