Thefts are common at Nursing Homes, I don't think I would use the most costly fabrics I own. Just my thoughts. Good for you to do this.

I also would make it atleast 70" so that it drops down at the end of the bed a bit and keep grama's feet covered JMHO :D:D:D When my deceased husband was in a nursing home, I brought him a quilt I'd made for him years ago. It got washed to death but held up fine. |
