My DH cut plexiglass to fit the bottoms of my purses and totes, and I put them in a "pillowcase" (fold the ends in). Easy and take out and throw whole purse in washer (I hang to dry). He also cut plexieglass pieces for my Nook and Kindle that I put in a pocket on the left side of the cover to help protect the glass. Very lightweight.

I have sometimes used two layers of plastic canvas slipped into a pocket of fabric, kind of like a small pillow case. When it comes time to wash it, just pull out the plastic and everything else is washable.

Thank you all! you guys are great pics to follow!

Try going to the MaryMaxim.com and check out their catalog. They sell solid removeable plastic purse liners in several sizes. Also sold in their stores if you are located near one.:):):):)

When you use soft & stable, do you sew it with the outside of the bag or the lining.
