Connie, it may be the pins you are using, too - I find some are made out of stiffer metal than others. When I get dollar-store paper clips and safety pins, I think of them as disposable items. Since these will be used again and again, you want the best pin possible.

I have them and love them. They fit on the bent pins. I bought the clips at Joanns with a coupon for 40% off the regular price of $11 somthing.
They work very well and sure save you fingers. |
I have them also and I love them, I sat one afternoon with a pair of needle-nose pliers and the bent pins and had them done in no time. They make the pins easier to handle and they don't get all tangled up. I spent more time untangling the pins, before I got these, than I did pinning a quilt. |
Thanks for the picture of all 2,000 of them!! I love the color!!:))I might have to print that and put it on my wall!:))Heck...I just need 2,000 to see for real over here:))Skeat

did you use small needle nose pliers? the kwik klip isnt' to be used to load the pins into these grips. just asking.

I so wanted the quick clip. couldn't find one to buy so my DH put a screw into a 5 inch piece of dowel theb cut the head off the screw & filed it smooth. Works great.
